“He will tell me ‘no!’, people are like that in this part of the city,” she says when I ask her to ask the man if he will pose with her for a photo. But what gentleman will deny a polite request of a smiling ballerina? “Con gusto, sera mi placer!”

Out of the corner of my eye I could see what looked like his wife grab her cane and hobble over to where we were standing - so I quickly composed and photographed this image before perhaps he might think better of his decision, or give his wife an opportunity to change his mind.
