Different cameras make different pictures. For me, medium format 6x6 is a perfect location-portrait camera. I have not been successful in translating it as a street camera - I prefer my iPhone for that. Looking down through the waist-level finder of my Hasselblad makes me slow down, something a digital camera doesn’t do quite as well.
I notice lines, edges, the entire frame much more than I might with a camera that doesn’t have an inherent cost of film and development. I might notice an elbow crossing a line, eyes that break a plane and could be improved by lowering or raising the camera. I don’t always slow down to this extreme degree, admittedly; but I have learned look at a photo-to-be-made differently, now.
